Andrew Gu

Andrew Gu started piano lessons with mom Helen Jung (Jung Piano Studio) and currently studies with Alexander Korsantia. He won 1st Prize at Grotrian-Steinweg International Piano Competition (2015), Rosalyn Tureck International Piano Competition (2017), Grand Prix at Chopin International Piano Competition Hartford (2019), 3rd Prize and Best Solo Award at 2021 Arthur Fraser International Piano Competition. More recently, he won the 3rd Prize at the prestigious 18th Ettlingen International Piano Competition in Germany (2022). He made his orchestral debut at age 8 performing Haydn's Keyboard Concerto in D major. Andrew has been featured in From The Top Show, Classical KING FM’s NW Focus Live Shows and has performed at such venues as Benaroya Hall, Merkin Hall, DiMenna Center, and Kravis Center.
