Larry Ford

Larry was called home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2025.

A GRAMMY® award winning tenor, and a member of the Gaither Homecoming Family of artists, Larry Ford committed his life to singing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Larry made Florida his home for over forty years.

Larry's fifty five year music ministry took him to forty nine states and more than thirty five foreign countries. He could sing in English, Spanish, Swedish, Russian, Italian, Hebrew and Norwegian. Larry is a former member of The Downings, the Dixie Echoes and The James Blackwood Quartet.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sherryl. She and Larry were married for 52 years. They served as pastors in Texas and Florida for ten years. The family also includes six children and eleven grandchildren.
