Born in 1980 and fondly remembered after his passing in 2017, Lundi began his musical journey as a backing vocalist for Rebecca Malope. His talent soon earned him a solo record deal from Tshepo Nzimande, and in 1998, he released his debut album, "Mphefumlo Wami," which sold nearly 400,000 copies. Over his illustrious career, Lundi released more than 20 albums, winning numerous awards and becoming one of South Africa’s best-selling gospel artists with over 3 million albums sold.
