HJ Arts & Culture

Our mission is to build a community and network of artists who believe that art has the power to change society and align our culture with values of hyojeong and heart. We believe that art and creativity in its truest form can change the conversation and break down barriers that are dividing people. We use our art to create bridges, teach and express God-centered values, and create an others-first community.

“Hyo Jeong” [HJ] means "Culture of Filial Piety," or creating a culture of heart that reflects the love of a child toward his/her parents. The love and dedication we have for God, our Heavenly Parent, is first learned in our families through the love toward our own parents who have sacrificed everything for us. This heart delivered through the arts has the power to revolutionize a self-centered culture and challenge us to become agents of God’s unconditional and selfless love.
