The Jeet Kune Do Dialogues

The Jeet Kune Do Dialogues is a weekly conversation series featuring instructors, practitioners, authors, and researchers from across the Jeet Kune Do community.

Hosted by Dwight Woods (“The JKD Rebel”), a 40+ year practitioner in the Dan Inosanto lineage and head instructor of Unified Martial Art Academy, the Dialogues focus on thoughtful discussion rather than soundbites—giving guests space to explore their ideas, experiences, and perspectives on Jeet Kune Do.

Conversations examine JKD training, identity, history, interpretation, and evolution, as well as Bruce Lee’s influence and how JKD relates to modern martial arts culture. Guests may hold differing—or even conflicting—views, and disagreement is treated as a source of insight rather than division.

This channel is for practitioners and instructors who want to hear multiple informed perspectives, think critically about JKD, and engage the art as a living process rather than a fixed doctrine.
