Boyan Stoyanov

My name is Boyan Stoyanov a.k.a. "The Notorious Painter" I was born in 1983 in the city of Kostinbrod, where I still live and work. My family comes from artist’s and creator’s, and drawing has been a companion for me since I was very young and it is my way of self-expression. Books, movies and music are one of the main drivers of influence on my art. My major in school was poster and graphics and these techniques combined with the Pop Art style and Pop culture icons of our time laid the foundation for the idea of my non-traditional portraits. The mix of Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Steve Jobs, Madonna and Picasso gave birth to the look of Eminem, Rihanna and Donatella Versace. If my works bring mood and color to the observer, what could be better than that? For a long time I did not draw and ran away from myself, but when I realized that this is the gift I have then I started on the path of searching for an expression.
