Stanley Otieno, popularly known by his stage name APESI aka mnyama mkali is a recording and a Live performing Kenyan artist, songwriter, vocal trainer, vocalist and a guitarist.

He is the founder of a sound called Afro Benga/modern Benga that brings a feeling of "trad-urban"(a fusion of traditional and urban sound).

He has performed at many events including The luo festival , National Madaraka Day Celebration, IAAF championship, World music Day,NAAM Festival(USA)Luo NIGHT Valentine Edition (UK), Diamond concert,Live and Doe in Africa Album Tour by Sautisol and others
